From the SouthCoastToday.com:
Dead turtles should be reported to the New England Aquarium at (617) 973-5200. If you spot a turtle that is sick or injured or entangled in rope, litter or fishing gear, call the Provincetown Center at 1-800-900-3622.
The Aquarium's turtle doctor, Charlie Innis, and his team of turtle experts are busy this time of year. This is the time for the marine animal rescue program to go to work saving as many turtles as possible. So far it seems that this season has been a tad more busy than usual. It gets heaviest in the fall and already three leatherback turtles have washed up on shore. All three were dead, and the most recent one had propeller injuries. However, it's hard to say whether the propeller hit the turtle before or after it died.
