Now I can show you how close the harp seal visitor was to the Aquarium!
We couldn't publicize the seal's location until now in order to ensure it would not be disturbed. When encountering a hauled out seal, it's best to stay at least 150 feet away and not make any loud noises. However, despite the bustling nature of Boston Harbor, this harp seal decided to come visit the Aquarium! This is a good sign for the upcoming unveiling of the New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center!
